College students across the country are enrolling in e-learning courses at an astounding pace. In fact, more than 6 million students are taking at least one class online. At least a third of today's college graduates will take an online class before graduating, but it's not just young people who are interested in taking online courses. Amex Computers understands that corporate environments also turn to distance learning to educate their employees. The Carlstadt, New Jersey, company designs e-learning modules for its clients, creating training materials and workbooks.

Midcareer students are also enrolling in e-schools and excelling. The University of Kansas recently conducted a study of older students and found that they were highly satisfied with their online classes. Adult e-learners out of college are generally receptive to distance learning. The media designers at Amex Computers focus on providing structured knowledge in addition to practice and guidance for course takers.
